Representative Reported Cases

  • Fortune v. New York City Housing Authority, et al.- Drafted extensive motions resulting in the Court granting the Plaintiff summary judgment as to Labor Law § 240 against the New York City Housing Authority. The damages in this case ultimately were decided by a jury which awarded the Plaintiff a verdict for over $4,000,000.
  • Martinez v. The Puck Building Condominium, et al.- Instrumental in assisting secure a $3,750,000 settlement against multiple notorious New York City real estate developers in relation to a labor law construction accident at the development of The Puck Building Condominium project in Manhattan.
  • Sejour v. Derry Winters, et al.- Secured a directed verdict after a jury trial against a driver that sideswiped the vehicle the Plaintiff was a passenger in.
  • Franco v. Betesh- Obtained a settlement after jury selection for three times the offer prior to jury selection in a case where a young individual suffered severe and permanent injuries as a result of a driver opening his door into a bicycle within a New York City bicycle lane.
